Volunteer Docents

Dogs for Better Lives is seeking volunteers to conduct our unique facility tours located at the foot of beautiful Table Rock in Central Point, Oregon. Tours are approximately one hour and are conducted weekly Monday through Friday, except on major holidays and special events:

April – September tours are offered at 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

October – March tours are offered at 11:00 AM.

Volunteer Docents are asked to commit a minimum of three hours a week for 12 months. The process includes a brief meeting with our Docent Coordinator to share the duties of this opportunity as well as to answer any questions. Volunteer Docent training will include an orientation meeting, a Tour Binder, observation of two tours and demonstration of one tour.
