Kennel Volunteers

Do you live in southern Oregon? We are always looking for dedicated people to spend time at our Central Point, Oregon facility with our dogs in training to supervise them at play, taking them for walks, and simply spending one-on-one time with our dogs.

The Kennel Volunteer Training Program consists of 1 day a week for 4 weeks on Tuesday or Wednesday afternoons from 2:00-4:00 PM. After you’ve received your training, your time here will be to give lots of love and attention, which is the most important part of our volunteer program!

We only ask that Volunteers be willing to commit to a minimum of 2 hours per week for at least 1 year. We also ask that you come in for a brief interview with our Volunteer Coordinator so we can get to know you and answer any questions that you may have about volunteering here at Dogs for Better Lives, as well any questions that the Volunteer Coordinator may have.
